That fault code is telling the ECU the start isn't authorized. The start run stall cycle is exactly correct for a bad key chip or a fault in the key reader.

You probably have codes set. I believe the 2001 behaves like my 1999 if there is an immob problem, it cranks, fires, then quits.

Grab the wiring diagram off the web. Should be battery voltage at injectors, the ECU fires by grounding

Okay I have confirmed there is no injectors firing. It will only run for a second or two,so I'm confident that the ECU isn't providing the ground. I suspect the no crank condition may be ...

Thanks for the advice! The injectors are reading 7.3v.engine fired with ether. Are they supposed to be getting 12v?
