Re: 01 V70 T5 sunroof and a/c issues
Found my issue the arm on this little actuator had come off and caused it to close the flap on the blower motor. Now my question is what is it called?

Re: 01 V70 T5 sunroof and a/c issues
I don't really have an air flow issue in that way. It's not that it blows and then gets weak it's that it goes from normal to nothing as if I closed all the vents at once when the a/c is on. It does it when I first start and after I've driven and somtimes not at all it's more of a door closing on me ...

Re: 01 V70 T5 sunroof and a/c issues
I've been messing around with it and have discovered that I haven't had that quality sensor on at all, but having it on hasn't changed much. I also discovered that if I turn my a/c off it blows through the vents as normal but if I turn the a/c on it stops blowing. I hear my blower motor going but I ...

Re: 01 V70 T5 sunroof and a/c issues
Once I hear that little motor sound and it closes off nothing can change it whether I change speed or different positions, or press manual or auto. I did the lock and unlock 3 times procedure and everything is working properly. Fuses are ok as well. I'll try blowing into it if it starts up again.

01 V70 T5 sunroof and a/c issues
So I have recently fixed a mess of problems on this lovely vehicle and everything was great until my sunroof started to act up. When I press the switch to auto open it it stops after moving partially the it only moves slightly when I push it again. It does the same thing going forward and some times ...

Re: '01 V70 T5 misfire issues
Another update: Seems the previous owner was running non turbo plugs, volvo branded at that. You'd think after owning the car for 15 years that would be simple to avoid.

Non Turbo Plugs in a Turbo
Went to do a tune up for the first time after some misfires (that fiasco is on another thread) on my V70 T5 and realized that the previous owner was using the non turbo three prong plugs. I know this couldn't be good for the engine, but I'm curious as to if there is any immediate damage or if poor ...

Re: '01 V70 T5 misfire issues
Quick update, pulled plugs and coils. All five coils had cracks to some extent which was expected, however I did have oil pooling up top and it managed to seeped into the #2 spark plug tube. What gets me is that #4 was drenched with no signs of it coming from the top and #5 was worse. I know my pcv ...

Re: '01 V70 T5 misfire issues
Not sure what's in it now since I've owned the car for only 2-3 months after buying it off the original owner, I'm going to replace them with OE Volvo plugs and throw a new coil in place of whatever one looks worse. I'm going to go through connectors, relays, the fuel pressure damper, fuel and air ...
