Re: Problem with New and old etm replacement ..
1a5d means no power in etm. If its only on new unit then It may be faulty. Did you get the Etm for turbo engine?

Re: Problem with New and old etm replacement ..
The Etm has to be reloaded using vida if its new. You have to check if its communicating, not sure about autel but in vida you can do the test. Vdash can be used to clone old etm but it cost 46eur, ask dealer how much is the software upgrade it may cost less than vdash

Re: wiring diagram for inner rear view mirror
You sure you don't have the wire attached to your manual mirror? I had in mine, if you look in vida car config a lot of them came configured to the auto dimming mirror, sometimes the plug is attached to the mirror or in headliner. The mirror is conected via LIN to the CCM. here are diagrams: https:/...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
I did compare few CEM's and for service interval in UK is 0x04 so its 12500 miles, then 0x03 is mostly for US 7500 miles. I have seen 0x05 but haven't try yet. What I did notice if you enable "extendet trip computer with km option" it won't work fully (no km option) until the user defined ...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Just wanted to report that it works, did manage to turn off DRL and some other things, the only bit 0x04 that is responsible for service interval hasn't been change (vida shows as service interval for UK diesel market) but have no reference what other settings should be there to unlock "user de...

Re: Vida CEM swapping

Re: Vida CEM swapping
You can use cem cracker or read directly from cpu and find the pin. If you look at page 9 there is details where the config is, but if you change any byte you have to recalculate checksum but can't figure this out yet
