Volvo 940 sedan 1994 drop out
Next problem I need to tackle: when driving over 50 mph, if I lift my foot off of the gas with any speed faster than zen gradual the car occasionally (not always) shudders - like it has been momentarily shut off. It lasts all for a 1/4 second. Only over 50 mph. Does not lurch, more like a hiccup. Br...

Re: Gear Shift Knob 940 1994 - placing without overdrive button
When I tried to place the new knob on, it won't slide down and release the button. I can shift without the knob by pressing down the shifter by hand without the knob. Any idea as to why the new (correct) knob won't fit down?

Gear Shift Knob 940 1994 - placing without overdrive button
Hello, I followed search advice and ordered a new gear shift knob after mine came off and shift button broke (I possibly broke it fiddling...but the whole handle was in a bad state already). I am not concerned with the overdrive wiring as I have been without for 12 years so far. New one arrived next...
