higher altitude means less oxygen. less oxygen means less chance for engine to breathe properly and will lead to heat. but you need to really be climbing some major mountain and running for a long time to have overheating problems. you would also notice performance degredation...like it your air ...

I think it is a bulb rather than a LED and it is my understanding that the blue light should come on when the A/C is switched off i.e the button is depressed.

hello fellow volvo owners. anyone know how to replace the blue led (assuming led) indicator light that is illuminated when turning on the A/C?

the a/c works just fine but the light no long comes on when the a/c is turned on. just a moderate annoyance.
