Re: DIY: 1998 S70 Gasket at Gas Tank & Filler Pipe
The posts are helpful for me but I now just need to know what to do with the second line from the front of the car. It has nowhere to go back at the tank or lines. I don't get it. What am I not seeing?

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
This fuel system that I am replacing is actually from a 98 V70 . The vacuum control is factory. I have one fuel supply line coming from the tank and another line that comes from the other side of the tank ( pump side) that goes to the fuel filter. The line with the vacuum control on it seems to be a...

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
The photos from your post on MVS only shows one line from the tank to the front of the car as well but it's not the same as mine. Before the rusty lines were leaking, the car ran okay, not perfect but okay.

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
Neil, I have figured out which one of the lines is the supply line to the filter and connected it to one of the supply lines to the front. The two lines looked exactly alike in shape before I cut and reconnected them together. I still only see one outgoing line from the tank to the front. I need to ...

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
My 98 V70R didn't come with the vacuum control valve that yours has. This was obviously added to later models after 98. There is no place for a vacuum line to connect to the regulator. How many actual fuel lines run to the engine bay, or to the front of the car from the tank? Going by the lines on t...

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
:D Neil, I just went through the complete thread on the fuel and emissions lines. Very helpful but still doesn't answer my 2 most important questions. The filler neck overflow hose connection at the other end, and the silver fuel control valve having anything connected to the open end as shown in yo...

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
I'm not sure how to load photos to this site. I removed the rear suspension and gas tank from my 1998 V70R 4 D. Now I have a couple of questions about the lines and the placement and destination of a couple of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: V70R fuel line replacement
Thank you Neil. This is my first time on the site and I am a new member as of today. I finally got the pump install finished, and now I'm replacing a couple of fuel lines. I have a larger green metal tube connected to the filler neck that rusted off and I can't see where it connected to. I'm assumin...
