For sale - my working VIDA Dice Unit I purchased off eBay probably in the 2018-2019 timeframe. Computer_Psycho was the seller (recommended either here or on another Volvo forum). Sold my 2006 V70 so I don't need it anymore.

Mystery Part - Evap Related?
Poking around the other day at the crusty vacuum lines coming of my 2006 V70's intake manifold (2.4 non turbo) I found a suspect one that led to a device bolted to the radiator support just above the radiator...This angle is looking towards the rear of the radiator from just above the engine. I've b...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Installed a new serpentine belt and tensioner on my 2006 V70 2.4. Nice and easy job. Removed the wheel for better access to the lower tensioner bolt.

Re: Interesting Cold Start Idle Behavior
After several days of testing at various temps (including those below 32F) and an admission that the last time I had this issue upon checking the oil I found it at the low line of the acceptable range on the dipstick, I am ready to accept @Jonesg's theory on low oil level. I've been using Mobil 1 0-...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
As I was in the car fixin' mood (resolved a bunch of items on our Honda Odyssey yesterday) I tested my evap canister purge valve. No clicking so maybe this is the root cause of my persistent P0442 (EVAP Control System Leak Detected Small Leak)? FCP has 'em reasonably priced. Also noticed that the ru...

Re: Interesting Cold Start Idle Behavior
Thanks abscate. Additional info... This behavior doesn't throw a code, however I have been living with a P0442 (EVAP Control System Leak Detected Small Leak) for a few months now. Was going to wait for warmer temps to figure that one out but maybe it's the culprit? But...why only at ambient temps at...

Interesting Cold Start Idle Behavior
Happy Friday all. Wanted to share an interesting cold start idle behavior I've been experiencing this winter in hopes that someone might know the cause. First let me describe what I've come to expect as NORMAL at start up (all ambient temps) after owning this 2006 V70 2.4 for 4 years: Starts up, rev...

Re: Accessory Belt Tensioner - Pulley or Assembly?
My PS pulley is 5 1/8", so I'll get the shorter belt. Thanks all!

Re: Accessory Belt Tensioner - Pulley or Assembly?
Based on feedback from FCP, what I need is the Continental 6DK1825. Some specs (from the Rockauto website) 6DK1841 (the one listed as being for the 2006 V70 with chassis numbers below a certain value- mentioned earlier in this thread) 6 ribs Length = 72.48" Width = 0.81" 6DK1825 (the one s...
