So I found a ecm from a 98 v70R and a 16T turbo. Will this be a direct plug and play for my 2000 V70GLT which is the 2.4 LPT? I understand that I may get some codes that need programmed around but will the car run and drive? Both cars were automatics

Yep, I've had to deal with the inconvenience of turbo lag to often. Hence the need to find a quicker turbo spool. I bet I could rig up my A/C compressor pump to a portable tank like the one in this video. Seems cheaper than NOS or methanol injection

Now that is an excellent idea.. why is this not common practice?

Yep, I'll be changing my exhaust flange.. I think the angle flange flows a little better than the straight. Seem like I read it in a Fast Friday post. If it wasn't this forum maybe it was Swede speed?

Ok I answered my own question.. found answers on a SAAB forum SAAB ran both in different years I guess spec wise as far as housings, inlets, outlets all go they are visually the same turbo.. except for internally the 15T has variable or varying compressor vane sizes to make it spool up a little quic...
