Do we just need someone with hardware to do this for $25 plus USPS shipping?

How about it wcm - are we game??
Yes.

Cutting the ECU harness out of a P80 car makes it much easier to set up the hardware.

Spec wise, the 15G is pretty good, while the 15T doesn’t exist. :P

I thought I had mentioned that...

Just sayin.. there is a 15T, meaning no disrespect to anyone saying otherwise. It's just that I keep finding them for sale. If I could use a 15T in place of a 15G I would.. cause I have some available to me for a decent price on Ebay.

Ok I answered my own question.. found answers on a SAAB forum SAAB ran both in different years I guess spec wise as far as housings, inlets, outlets all go they are visually the same turbo.. except for internally the 15T has variable or varying compressor vane sizes to make it spool up a little quicker. What it gains down low it looses up on top end I guess. It's a tradeoff for where you want your torque to come in at I guess. Never mind all of that tho I'll just make sure I buy the 15G for now to keep it simple.

Yes, it does physically exist, but not in the realm of our cars - i.e. it was never used on a Volvo from factory. :)

The TD04 turbos are all very similar, and are made to be installed in the same way. So TD04 turbos will all fit your car - you just need to decide where you want the power to be, and size it according to other mods you might want to do, such as IC, downpipe, tuning, etc. Also make sure you get the right outlet for your current setup and/or downpipe installation, i.e. angled or straight flange. :)

The exhaust flange matters for install yes, but you can just swap the current flange over from the old turbo to whatever new turbo you get.

So if you're not changing the downpipe, flange doesn't matter just grab a 15g.

Yep, I'll be changing my exhaust flange.. I think the angle flange flows a little better than the straight. Seem like I read it in a Fast Friday post. If it wasn't this forum maybe it was Swede speed?
