As far as heat goes this was a problem before timing kit intalled. Its a heater core issue I am pretty sure so not priority ar this time. State inspection is 😩🤷🏻‍♂️ I will have to go back and retrieve code again. Its definately said heater control bank 2 and I believe P0500 code. I will update with ...

Unsure if the upsteam or downstream one. Hopefull upstream from soundcof it. How will I know. Probably a dumb question but if one of these O2 sensors are bad could it effect the heat in car? Happy New Year by the way!!

Update
Transmission service required was able to be reset with OBD. The CEL was as you said unrelated due to a heater control bank 2
o2 sensor. Just need to figure out location of paticular o2 sensor which Im guessing shorted to ground and should be good to go

Timing kit and seals just changed couple of days ago
Tranny fuid about 35-40k ago, still looks red with no burn smell
Car has 166K

Transmission service required came on simultaneously with Check Engine Light. Car is running and shifting fine with no slippage at all. FYI. Just had timing belt, seals replaced due to a a failed idler pulley and oil leaking on timing belt. Any ideas? FYI this is NOT the transmission service urgent ...

Have to examine in daylight closer. I suspect it did advance a tooth, hopefully tensionsr. All signs point to that or cam shaft sensor (note small oil leak may of lead to this) or it seems the solenoid which i am not even aware of it also points to

Also now will turnover strong but wont start.
