Thee was a squeeking noise coming frm my brakes. The mechanic inspected and told me all brakes are in really god shape including caliper, roter, etc. in all 4 wheels are in perfect shape. However he siad he had to adjust thehan brake assemby. However, the noise is still there. I am worried since it is to with the brakes. Anyone please advice.

Who did the brakes the last time? Chances are that if it was anyone besides a Volvo mechanic, they didn't install the shims on the rear designed to prevent squeaking. It's not a safety thing, it's just an annoyance.

Volvo also has what looks like grease for the shims to help prevent the squeal.
