2000 C70 top wont go down

Yesterday the top indicator was going off even thogh the top was down. Today neither the top or the trunk release works. I thought it was a fuse issue, but there doesn't seem to be a fuse for either, and all the fuses look ok.

any ideas?

someone at least tell me how i can disconect the thing that dings constantly...its driving me nuts

There should be a relay under the driver's side kick panel that will disable the sound. As far as the rest of your problem, you may want to ask Rich (Bay13Admin) over in the maintenance section at Volvospeed.

Maybe you now know why Volvo discotinued the C in '04. The likely problem is one of the 6 motors that are needed to operate the top
