2000 C70 HT 2.3 Turbo pie threads stripped Topic is solved

Ok, so for all of you who have helped me along the way through my journey of learning about all the Volvo repairs and learning about Volvo's know I have been through alot to try and get my C70 convertible back on the road.I have rebuilt the entire front suspension, replaced all the necessary oil pan R&R seals and Anaerobic sealant to reinstall the oil pan and lots more, well last night when in the process of installing the turbo oil coolant line the 2 small bolts that bolt to the bottom side of the turbo with a gasket in place i tried tightening it down and had a really hard time, being under the car and had already re-installed the Passenger side drive axle so it was hard to manipulate the gasket in place between the turbo and coolant pipe, long story short after finally getting the end with the round gasket in place in the back side of engine the end that is held in place by the 2 small hex head type screws, I managed to cross thread one of the bolts because the gasket had slid a bit out of place,anyway now the threads are messed up enough the small bolt will not thread, I just reinstalled the turbo after completely cleaning it, and have the IPD colored silicone vacuum lines that connect to turbo and connecting plastic intake piping, now i have to remove the turbo again. Anyone have any idea what type and size the threads are on those 2 flange style hex screws that bolt the coolant pipe, what are my options on repairing this, a tap or what, any help much appreciated. All I had left to do was install antifreeze and engine oil, now this set back. (

You have literally stripped the only threads on the turbo which carry stuff not under pressure; that drain pipe is just a gravity feed back to the sump. They are M6 studs, I believe 1.00 mm pitch threads

I can double check on my spare turbo when I get home.

I managed to get two different 10mm head bolts to screw right in,seems to be mainly threads on the M6 studs i guess.
