Post by Swick444 »

Hello everyone, this is my first post here :D I have 87 850 T5 that's getting new injectors eventually & a tune! The only issue is they need a 4.4 Fuel Rail, not 4.3:/ I was wonder if its possible to swap over & if so, what steps I would need to do to proceed with the process? Any help is great apricated :D Love all the builds I see here<3

Injectors will fit on both fuel rails, they are interchangeable between m4.3 & m4.4 management.
They are physicaly the same...flow could be different but not necessarily.

You can't fit m4.4 fuel rail on m4.3 car because....m4.4 fuel rail have damper where m4.3 have fpr and because of that it doesn't have return line from fpr under the rail...on m4.4 cars return line is behind passenger's rear side wheel where fpr is.

The rail itself for m4.3 management can be retrofitted, but it needs some modifications.
