can heater hose be used for brake booster vacuum line?

It's time to replace that line but I'm not finding dedicated vacuum hose at auto supply stores.
Suggestions?

I used some sort of yellow sprayer hose from Lowes years ago. I think it was a fiber reinforced vinyl. It's was on my 69 Buick, and I think it's still there. I was contemplating replacing it, but I don't think I actually did so.

Ping me jim, I have this as a spare. This one has to be heavy wall application for safety. Heater hose might work short term but you don’t want this to age and collapse.

I used thick wall silicone tubing on my 97 855. The thick wall prevents collapse under vacuum. So far it has been working fine.

Can't remember if I used the 8 or 10mm diameter hose:

I haven't had the need to replace a brake booster yet, but in the past I have used re-enforced fuel supply lines when the part could not be sourced. Also most auto supply stores brake booster line by the foot just make sure it has re-enforcement within it and rated for pressure.

Auto Trans Cooler line IS suitable due to stiff construction. Fuel hose and other hoses at the auto stores are too soft.
