keyless entry reciever

Post by markspangenthal »

I have a 1995 850 wagon, can you tell me where the keyless remote reciever is located. The system stopped working without any apparent reason. I've tried reprograming without luck. I'm wondering if I can check the reciever without removeing the dash...That scares me just a little!

It's in the center front of the dash.

Are you sure it's not the remote? Or remote's batteries?

i have two remotes, i changed the batteries in both and tried to reset them. Neither remedy has worked. I'm assuming at thispoint it would be the reciever. Any suggestions on what the next step should be?
