My city milage sank to 16 mpg  when (1997 850 T5) my front O2 sensor went bad (Check Engine light was on). Went up 2 or 3 when replaced.

Is this the norm? I am driving under Economy mode and getting a little less than 19.

Should it be more?

I get 30 :D

Oh wait, Volvo...yeah, 18 was what I usually managed. Highway was surprising at times, I've seen up to 33.

I think I get 16-18 in the hilly city areas I hit. Closer to 22 on the highway but I'm still working on my Stage 0 restore so that may get better as time goes on.

I've found I never have to refuel if I get in front of Abscate on a single lane road in our area and place a BMW emblem on the back of the Volvo in the middle of the rear glass and a yellow Walmart happy face below it, then crank the Barney theme song on the radio with the windows down. It's amazing how far you can go with no gas burned. And the speed -- It's like having warp drive.
