delay after start-up

I have been experiencing an increasing delay for the cabin electronics to be enabled when I start the car.
The actual time varies, but it is usually several minutes before the climate control, radio, windows or seats are enabled. If I am not screaming, I can hear the relay eventually click, and then all is well? During this time, the cluster items (temp, fuel, etc.) all register normally.
The code scan is clean. Winter is fast approaching and I am not looking forward to sitting in a cold car waiting for the blower to come on for several minutes.

Next time it happens, twitch your ignition key. I'm betting you have a bad electrical portion of your ignition switch - mine used to do the same thing.

No luck with the key. But I am not ruling it out. It may be the best "first salvo" to correct this problem.

I replaced the ignition switch yesterday. It didn't fix the problem. I neglected to post that the SRS light will remain on while I am waiting for this delay to pass. It eventually goes out, then the system will energize everything. I had someone suggest the driver door latch. I have no effect on the problem if I cycle the door lock.
