SIPS

Hi, sorry abiut my ignorance, but, how do I know if my V70 has spis installed?

All V70 cars should have SIPS but there is normally a decal on the B Pillar that says so.

Otherwise yank off the power seat panel (Pull up and then slide it back toward the back of the car) and see if you have the Orange or Red SIPS trigger protector. If so, You have SIPS.

here is a drawing of the power seat panel:

al lado del asiento, acerca de la puerta

Pull up on the front of the panel. Then slide it back toward the rear of the car.

Your car has SIPS since the label shows the service date for them.

The car says SIPS all over the place down there, and it's even stamped into body under the lower weatherstripping for the door! I hope you're still not skeptical

you mean that sips was installed in 2009?
