[/img]I refuse to wrestle with this more than an hour without asking for help. My first oil change on this 850 and the shop that did the last one really made it difficult for me to take this thing off. I have looked up all types of tips and tried everything that I own and not a budge. I have tried breaking the gasket seal but I can't get any type of thing up in that space to do that & I have tried making a grip on the old filter while trying lots of things that normally work. I wanted to make positively sure before I turn to drastic (messy) measures that this is supposed to be a normal lefty loosey off. I can't imagine how or why they put this on so tightely not that long ago, but it's taking WAY too long to do something so simple that I am leaving it for awhile. Please let me know that I am for sure turning it the right way to loosen. Counterclockwise? Thanks!
