1996 850 T5 Alternative rattle-and-clunk location

So I've been hearing the tell-tale rattle and clunks from the front driver side of my little bundle of rumble. First thought was that the link arm was going (which it is, in a while), but couldn't find the expected play in it. Also, there was a mysterious rattle, seemingly from inside my driver side door, but no amount of hunting and tightening of bolts and screws could fix it.

Today, while checking my link arm again, I leaned up against the panel that makes up the whole front side of the car, and got the rattle and clunk from the panel itself. Turns out it was this:

One of 2 bolts visible when the door is open was loosening a little, and the whole panel was making the standard link arm clunking sound, plus a rattle when the freq of engine vibrations were just right.

So, one more place to check if you're hunting rattles and clunks.
