2013 xc90 curt hitch install

Went to put a curt hitch in the XC90 and had some fit Rt trouble. I suspect it’s build tolerance.

Update. E-trailer responded in two hours and will send me a new one.

Ups picked up mine, and etrailer shipped the replacement same day. Good customer service

Got new hitch on this am, in 50 minutes.

It uses 4 existing m12 bolts on car, and includes 2 more m12 bolts (threads already in frame rail )

Exiting bolts are 15 mm hex, new ones are 19 mm

You need to remove rear exhaust donut and the two exhaust donuts upstream

Torque on bolts 100 Nm

Rear fascia trim needed

Silicone spray those donuts to make reinstall with hand pressure easy

The hitch on my 850 came from E-trailer long ago. I was quite pleased with it.
