I'm interested in it like a shovel maker in gold rush era as it speeds up my early retirement :) Seeing internet turning into a dead space filled with generated content is pity on the other hand, and makes new topics research way more difficult. Maybe I'll need to double down on reading old good human-written books :)

Hey, I was right with "some sort of power saving mode" in P1, where sirloin's one_pass branch totally crunches it! :)

The bringup to running state has a constant or constant enough run time, that's why a correct byte latency is seen with such a great precision and repeatability.

Do you mean the synchro process?
You could certainly call it that, but it's not really synchro. It's a synchro between SCU and CEM.
I have all the small softwares which where avaliable from pretty much all of the versions avaliable to perform this procedure, some have been cracked which have some sort of virus inbedded inside they work without issue, the others require activating, there is one which is for the sid807 which apparently requires a constant connection to a server which of course doesnt exist anymore but I am unsure if that is true, as based on the other applications they work independently.
