2004 S80 T6 Volvo oem radiator brand, VALEO Topic is solved

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Volvo Repair Database 2004 S80 T6 Volvo oem radiator brand, VALEO

Post by June »

I have read on here that several different brands are the oem original manufacturer for Volvo. My radiator had a damp area where the tank seals to the core. I was told not to worry as it may do this for years before becoming a leak that is noticeable. I just had Volvo replace it and thought I would post a picture of the manufacturing tag for those wanting to know what company made the oem. The part was only a little over $400 at the dealership. I bought a Valeo radiator for my 2000 S80 T6 for about $195 a year ago and installed it myself for free. Wasn`t much fun but looks like I saved almost $1000. $10 for radiator clamps and $427 for the radiator is what happens when you let a dealer touch you car. You could run a Nissens which is OEM and can carry a Volvo label also. Made in Slovakia not China or India. All radiators fail after 10 or 15 years these days.
