air problem

i own a 19925 740 wagon...all of a sudden when i turn the air controll knob to blow out the dashboard vents, nothin happens. it continues to blow out the floor vents. even when i put it on defrost, the air pattern does not change. what could be wrong? everything works it just wont come out the dashvents to my face...

Hey Jeff:

Sounds like you got a vacuum leak! Do a search of the forum for key word "kmaniac" and read my postings on the subject of disfunctional A/C vents. Let us know what you discover under the hood of your car.

By the way, can you still adjust the level of heat from your system? If not, further proof of a vacuum leak.
