Long time lurker and reader of these forums, found a lot of helpful information here,
so a big thanks to everyone here for posting!
Now to my issue:
My dad is the owner of an V50 2008 model, registered as a 2009, with an 2.0 Diesel (the PSA engine).
I wanted to connect my VIDA to his car to reset his service message etc., only to find out that some "genius" has cut
all of the wires to the OBD port. For what reason, I cannot fathom.
I've found the wiring diagrams for my specific model, and pulled out the pins from the connector housing in hope that I could rewire it,
but 4 of the 7 wires I can see have the same color coding, 2 are blue with red stripe, 2 are grey with a red stripe, making it impossible to know which pin they belonged to.
Looking at the EWD, it seems that pin 11 and pin 14 should be blue/red and pin 6 and pin 3 should grey/red.
Is there any way to measure this to connect correct wire to correct pin?
I've attached a screenshot of the Diagnostics wiring from the EWD and a picture from the loose hanging wires in the car, in hope that this helps to figure this out.
Best regards, Tim
