So what could cause this interruption?

After my original no start issue, my local guys put in a new ignition antenna. I was glad to get it going again with that funky key routine, but wanted to throw something at it because I didn't want to have a no start far from home. Unfortunately those ignition antenna's are a little pricey.
My later no start issues started when they removed the ECM and had another ECM flashed to the car. That was for a Check Engine light where the ECM didn't see the catalytic converter.

Good luck!
Here's my AutoZone parts store scan report. CEL is gone. The airbag warning, as you guys have said, is a telltale just left there.
It says P0073 - Ambient air temp sensor circuit High Input.
Seems pretty random.
At the bottom, this caught my eye....
Battery Voltage 11.81V.
That can't be right, that's almost dead. It's fairly new, starts and runs fine. I'll get a multimeter on it and check, and maybe do the disconnect-both-cables reset trick.

Classic electronic car behavior. Cranking isn’t a good diagnostic for a serviceable battery. Get a charger on that battery and post back with 12.5 VoltsThat can't be right, that's almost dead. OK - with a multimeter I'm getting 12.5 at rest. Battery is a Duracell with sticker 2/23. Put it on a charger.
Disconnected both cables if that reset idea works. I'll leave it sit for a while.

My Vida always lists a healthy battery at under 12V for some reason, so it is not a good test of the battery condition. Your testing is a better way although it might be worth testing the battery at the jump point under the hood and a ground nearby to make sure you are getting 12V+ to the engine area.
Ambient air temp high could be a marginal air temp sensor. There is one in the door mirror if I recall. I seem to remember BlackLab247 having an issue with that a year or so ago. It could be one of those random issues thrown due to certain driving conditions that you never see again once reset.
Good luck with the rest of your trip hopefully!
Neil.

I think thats located in the passenger side mirror, if it glitches its part of the climate control and that might cause SRS fault.
Or it might just report directly to the ECM, don't know.
It might need a deep dive with vida to see what the sensor is reporting for ambiant temps.
If you experience strange A/C behavior that could be a symptom of that sensor gone bad.
