2002 V70 T5 Spark Plug Torque Specifications

Does anybody know the torque specification for the spark plugs on my 2002 2.3L T5?

Have you checked your manual? My 02V70XC provides the torque information...don't have it with me though.

18.4 ft/lbs or 25 nm.

If I recall correctly that works out to hand tight and then about a quarter turn....just enough to compress the aluminum piece that sits up above the ridges of the threads.

Totally agree.

I have never used a torque wrench on spark plugs.
