Hi there -

I just wondered if anyone here has had their timing belt changed recently, and how much it cost to have done.

thanks!

What needs to be known first is the year and mileage of the car. An 850 or early 70 series has a change of belts at 70K and if at 140 add a hydraulic tensionerahd idler pulley. The more recent vehicles have a belt change at 105K and need the mechanical tensioner at the same time. A friend was quoted by a Volvo dealer about $600 for his V70
