The radio quit, so I traced and replaced a bad fuse under the hood. Two days later, again, no power to the radio. Checked all fuses and they are intact and fine.
Now, a day later, the power locks quit.
What's going on, is this common? Do I have electrical demons possessing this car? What's the fix for this?
'02 S40 Audio and Pwr Locks quit working!
I re-seated the yellow bank of fuses under the hood and the power locks and interior lights came back to life.
I then did the 2 hour key twist and the radio prompted me for the code, now that works.
I hope this won't be a weekly occurrence.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
Thank you for the update on the problem which is one I haven't heard of before. Had you been working near the bank of fuses and inadvertently moved them or did they just move themselves?
Hopefully it won't happen again but if it does you may have to improvise something to hold the fuses down.
Bill.
