V40 1.9D 2003 fascia repair

Post by V40owner »

Hi. I stupidly managed to scratch the upper part of the leather-style fascia so that there are marks across it and some of the material has lifted. Is there a way of removing/repairing the scratches as the rest of the interior is immaculate!! Be grateful for any suggestions (apart from replacing the whole fascia). Great site!!

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Such damage is repairable - if it isn't too bad.

Often DIY repairs make the thing look worse so look to an outfit like Chips Away, which is a national franchise operation.

You could also read this. Send them a photo and they will advise you.

I have no connection with either but I have used Chips Away for paint repairs. Very reasonable price and excellent work.

Bill Thanks for the reply. Tried Clean-Image who looked into the problem but suggested that it was probably the most difficult interior repair to do and would need the windscreen out!. Will try Chips Away. Grateful for the advice
