The first few times I apply the brakes in my 2K2 V40, there is a buzzing sound after I release the pedal. This occurs for about the first 4-5 brake applications after the car has been sitting for a long period (overnight) and then it goes away. There is no noticeable difference in pedal feel. Is there some sort of brake pressure booster that gets fluid pressure up?
Thanks.

The brake pads are fine, as confirmed by an inspection not long ago. This sound definitely sounds mechanical. The fact that only happens after the car has been sitting for a longer period and then goes away after a few applications of the brakes led me to believe that some sort of pressure booster is cycling on to get up to proper conditions.
Obviously if no one else has experienced it, it isn't a normal condition for this car. I probably should bring it in and have the dealer check it out, especially since it is under warantee still.
Thanks.
