Side Marker Light

Post by volvo850-mike »

I accidentally snaped off one of the clips that holds the side marker light onto the fender while trying to change the bulb...The problem is when I unscrewed the bulb from the marker the bulb assembly accidentally dropped down inside the fender....Anyone have any good ideas on how I can get it out-there isn't much space to work with.

Also on a possibly related topic....ever since this happened now the "service" light is on inside the car...could this be caused by the light mishap and if not what are the common reasons that this light would come on? The car seems to be running fine...

I'm a new Volvo owner so thanks for your help and patience.

Mike

If the assembly still has the wire attached use electric wire with a hook bent at the end to snake it out. double faced tape will hold the assembly to the fender if you cleah both the light and the fender
