OBD I is really easy to read all you need is a pencil and a peice of paper. You don't need to go to pep boys or advanced.

so i took the noob way and went to advance haha
my codes are this:
p0 730: gear ratio incorrect
p0 331: knock sensor 2 circuit range malfunction
p0 400: EGR flow malfunction
I know that the gear ratio issue is whats making the arrow flash, but if anyone knows how to fix the other 2 as well, or what they mean for that matter that'd be great
Thanks

gear ratio code still means transmission or gear slipping, w/c could possibly mean the used A/T you got from the wreck yard is also no good.

When was the last flush done? If it's been more than about 20k miles DON'T DO IT. lol Instead do a drain and fill, XB Corps ran some numbers and found that a "full" drain and fill can only be achieved by doing it about 26 times.

Ive only put about 3000 miles on it since the new tranny and it never ever slips, no issues with acceleration or anything. behaves totally normal, and the arrow doesn't even go all the time... maybe about 80% but not always. I highly doubt it needs a new tranny based on how well it performs

Like Lee said, try the PNP switch...see if that fixes anything.
