I have a 1997 850 GLT and recently bought fog lights from IPD, I think they are made by Vision X, I have hooked everything up using their wiring, relay, and switch. However, it requires that I run a red wire to my parking lamp. Does anybody know where and what color this wire is so I can made my fog lights work. If anybody has experience with this or know how to wire this specific product please let me know. In addition, if someone knows where to get a wiring diagram of my car that would be helpful. Otherwise, I going these fog light sitting in my basement instead of on my car.
Thanks,
Chris

I have aftermarket fog lights on my car made by Eurolite. The red wire attaches to the positive terminal clamp on the battery. Also, very important, make sure you have really good ground wire connections, otherwise the lights won't work.

I already routed the red wire to my battery, but they also require another wire to be connected to my parking lights. Do know where that wire may be? I hooked up everthing else and tried turning on the light, but no dice.

hhhrrmm... Well. http://www.volvospeed.com/Mods/sturninstall2.htm <-- If you go here, this covers some of the driving light wiring. If my assumption is correct, the parking light wire would be the white wone, but that's only an assumption. Wish I could help ya out a bit more.
