The turbo wagons are said to be able to do 160. I wouldn't doubt that, the speedo's only go to 140 and I think they are all governed to 130ish.

Ive only ever been able to get mine to 138 showd 135, computer read out in car showed 138. this is on road though im sure it could reach 150 on a dyno where there is less resistance.
You can see from my avatar pic, my 850 can def go at least 100mph. sorry if its a bit blurry. hard to take a pic while driving. thats on the highway driving home.

I have done 120MPH in my 850 T5 with four friends in the car and a loaded trunk. The crazy part is that even with her fully loaded, she still had a lot more to give. My friends were just freaking out to much for me to push her any farther.

I love when I tell someone ive done 120 in my car, they laugh there arse off, then ask what mods ive done to the engine... I love looking at them, popping my hood only to revel nothing has been done. and then you take out the cell phone with the photos on it.
Never loaded it down with people but I have loaded the trunk with a good 200 lbs.

Btw, I have a glt... So im SURE a turbo could easily do 150 if I can easily do 100. 240k miles as well.

Ive had my 850 going 240 kms/hr which is about 150mph and that was 2 years ago and the drivetrain had about 400kms on it then. Only mod it has is a boost controller but with that it does work alot better then stock.
I don't speed anymore, i guess I learned my lesson with a 700$ ticket.

Im starting to learn that too. might not have been 700 but 300 still hits yah in the wallet.

Now how does one put a boost conrtroller on? Im guessing you have a turbo? and im also guessing a boost controller would be useless on a glt.
If you cant put one on a GLT dont worry about telling me how to. lol

Ya, no way to increase the boost if it's not turbo charged.

edit: Other than installing a turbo hahaha

Hmmmmmmmmmmm... Do tell... Haha just kidding.

Im pretty sure a month from having a turbo youd see me on the side of a wall with the news report... reported 160mph +, right into a wall...

I figure if I can push my glt almost to 140 *135-138* im sure I can push a turbo to 160.

I was thinking of doing some mods. maybe installing a better intake system and such.

Rob, if you haven't done the 960 throttle plate mod and the intake hot air flap removal I highly recommend them. For about $5 you will greatly enjoy the enhanced throttle response - especially off the line.

My next thing will be a K&N filter.......I had good results using them on my two minivans.

Don't know if there is much else to do with a N/A, but it's fun trying.....

I was planning on doing the intake mod.
As far as the 960 throttle mod. I have not read up on it. could you provide a link??? preferably with a walkthrough?

I live in FL so im sure the flap removal wouldnt hurt my car.
