Sonds silly but can anyone help me out?
I need to remove a gearshifter knob from a 960
It looks similar to my 240
Any advise is extremely appreciated.

VADIS instruction:
Pull knob straight upward from the lever.
Considerable force is required to remove the knob.
Bill's instruction:
As above but do not lean forward over the knob as, eventually, it will come off with a rush and hit anything in its path. (Gear knob 1 - teeth 0).
