Hello All,
I have power seats in my car, which I absolutely abhor. I mostly hate them because every time I buy a car with power seats they are broken.
They will move but only on one rail. This was a common occurence on the 1st gen Saabs. There was a central motor attached to two twisty cables that worked together to move the chair symmetrically along the rails. In the event of a failure there was a special toll that came with the car. The tool was a cable with a square head that fit into the motor. You could then painstakingly move the seat into alignment (did I mention that it covered the removal bolts?)
Any advice?
Thanks,
bright
