2003 S60 Battery Replacement

Post by Ken_in_D »

My battery is getting weak and may need replacement. I notice that the original Volvo battery has a ventilation hose that exits near the top side of the battery and vents through the floorboard. Do aftermarket replacement batteries have this feature? If not, is the hydrogen gas vapor in the trunk a problem?

Most do not. You will probably have to buy it from a Volvo dealer. You might check with NAPA Auto Parts.

Only if it ignites.
