Volvo V70 remote - how to program??

Hi,

I had 2 remotes for unlocking my Volvo but they both kinda fell apart over time. So, I bought 2 remotes on ebay. How do I program them? They are the sort of triangular shaped ones - number on the back is 8685150.

Those remotes won't work on your V70; you need the old style remote: 9166200 (if your car has an alarm). The programming itself requires a software download to unlock the VGLA, so dealer-only or independent garage with VIDA access or an AutoLogic.

Are you saying the Autologic can program keys without going to the dealer or connecting to any database anywhere? Whats the cost like for the device?
