We drove from Raleigh to Nashua, NH yesterday (20th) and left early. The worst part was I-95 south of Fredericksburg, only one lane open for the most part. I drove "off road" on the other lanes in the icy stuff 'cause we had 800 miles to do...and it was faster :). Ended up getting off I-95 and taking Route 1 to bypass up to DC where it was fine from then on out.

Man it's cold up here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow definitely reminded me that I do need to get some snow tires for the V70. The S70T5 with the NordFrost 3s did great as usual. I was hoping the normal 15" wheels and tires on the V70 would be fine (since the S70 snow tires are 15"). It was okay, but didn't do nearly as well as the T5 did.

Seriously we got 20 miles away from our long drive and my drivers side turn signal just FELL OFF. The spring that held it on just failed, and a gust of wind took it off...OK on the way to the junk yard today and my CEL came on, low fuel trim. I went to clear it to see if it would come back and clean the MAF and my OBDI plug wire snapped as I placed it into A2!!! WTF seriously!!! 800 miles from home and my tools and all this stuff happens!!!
