S70 - 1998
Neither rear window will operate when using individual door controls.
But left rear window will respond to driver controls, so I'm discounting the motors as the problem.
Right rear is totally unresponsive, except for a slight clicking noise when using the driver control in attempting to roll window down. No sound when trying to go up. Also electric lock does not work on this door, but it's been out a while.
Have switched rear control switches to no effect.
Green bulbs under control buttons on individual door controls are not lit.
Any ideas?
Thanks

The switches are probably just real dirty inside. You can remove the switches from the door panel (I removed the panels first, but you can get them out without removing the panel). Here is a link to remove door panel:

The switches are a bear to take apart, but here is how I did them. I slit the keepers with an exacto knife first then pulled the switch apart (bottom from the top). Then I placed a stick match under the contacts so I could clearly see them. Then I used a small file (an emery board would do) and cleaned the contacts. Leaving the match in place, I then used compressed air and blew the switch out. Finally, remove the match, press the switch back together being careful that you get the switch prong into the slides and then puch the bottom back onto the top of the swicth. You can try the switch BEFORE you reassemble the switch...just use the match to operate the slides of each switch to make sure that it works correctly.
Usually, you will see contact transference from the moving contact onto the stationary contact for each switch on th3e switches that are inoperative.

cleaning the contacts worked !!!
Saved $170 for a master switch. All that was needed was to pop the switch cluster out of the door - don't need to take panel off, can pry out with a flat head screedriver. Take button lid off of switch. Then take switch box cover off. Clean the contacts and re-assemble.
Thanks
