Electrical problem, I think...

Post by deannali »

Hi...I have an '89 Volvo 240 wagon (love it), but all of a sudden, the interior lights, automatic door locks, clock, and radio presets don't work. The alternator and battery are new, and the fuses have been replaced. Is there something else I can check before I take it in to the mechanic??? Thanks!

It seems like you lost the constant feeding from battery to fuses #6 up to #10. Maybe some flat connector is loose at the common side for those fuses. Look for that! It should be a red wire. If not, it is a job for an electrician.
