s70 radiator change FAQ

how easy is it to change? Am i right about removing it thru the bottom of the car while on jack stands?
is there a trick to removing the tranny hoses after i remove the yellow clips where it enters the radiator?
Has anyone had the little neck break off that holds the hose to the upper resevoir tank?

thanks ,its looks more complicated than thatbut i'll try it.Was there any special tools needed to take the tranny and oil lines off w/o breaking the clips?

The clips can't be spread very much or they get stretched and lose their spring. I don't know of a special tool but a screwdriver or needle nose pliers can be used. You need to spread the clips slightly and slide the fittings off away from the radiator, rather than spread the clips wide and pull them off perpendicular to the hoses. You may have to put plastic ties or band clamps around the clips after you put them back.
