95 Volvo 960
Rides very smooth until I hit pot holes / Bumps
It feels like the FRONT end is about to fall off sometimes.
I have done the bounce procedure where you push down on front and see how much bounce it has and that seems good hardly any bounce.
The car has 184,400 miles and running preety good, trying to limp by with out a costly expense.
If i look for struts in a junk yard, what would i look for milage wise?
Shocks?
Of course its winter and dont have garage to work in till warms up outside
Any informations would be helpful.

Looking for struts in a junk yard is not a good idea as they will invariably have a high mileage on them and you have no way of testing them.
How many bounces did you get when you did the test?
Have you checked the bushes and track rod ends on the front end?

Work was good - retirement is better.
