I am replacing the engine in my 1990 240 wagon. When I removed the intake manifold off the blown engine, I didnt number the fuel injector connectors 1 to 4. Not sure if this is critical to the firing order. I think I read they all get pulsed at the same time so order doesnt matter. Does anyone know if they are sequential and should be reconnected by cylinder order?

Did some investigation locally and found out the injectors are batch fired with connector order not critical. The factory does use a specific order when the car is built however. I connected them based on harness length and memory..the engine runs great. FYI.
