Alright, I'm not a stereo guru, but I do know a few things about the 850's system. NEVER purchase car audio products from Best Buy and especially, never let them install anything in your car. For the most part, the car audio guys working at best buy have been pulled off the street and are being paid $8/hr to install stereo components in a [excuse the french] half assed manner. 6 x 9's will fit in your rear hat shelf with no problems whatsoever and it is incredibly easy to take out and install new speakers. You have to do it from the trunk. There are 3, I believe (Maybe 4) bolts holding each of the speakers in and there is a simple electrical connection. It takes no more than 10 minutes at most and you don't have to pull the shelf out at all.guest wrote:ive been reading that 6x9s will fit in the rear deck but some guy at best buy said they would not.. im guessing he is prolly wrong about this. what do you guys think? also, im not quite sure how to get to the speakers on the rear deck.. how can i pull that shelf out?!?!!?
