drop in tick over and stalling

hi everyone . just a quick one .. i have a problem with my s80 its a 2000 model and has quite a bit of mileage on her its a automatic .. the problem is when I'm driving it accelerate its spot on its when i stop accelerating the idling drops from about 800 revs to about 400 revs and sometimes stalls anyone any ideas ..thanks Richie

My 2000 S80 2.9 -- also with very high mileage (288K) -- was doing this a while back. I cleaned the throttle body in accordance with the how-to post in this forum and the problem was cured. That's my best guess. Good luck!
