S60 2003 Sunshade stuck

I have a 2003 S60. I am unable to open the sunshade when the sunroof is closed. It feels stuck. The sunshade opens and closes when I open and close the sunroof, but I cannot move the sunshade without moving the sunroof open or closed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There are 4 guides or sliders that mount on the shade. Part number is 9483170, but there could be other things going on also. The sunroof is no fun to work on so I would be careful how much you try to play with it.
