2000 S80 turn signal stem

Post by virginiap »

Hi,
I have 2000 s80 turn signal stem that I am trying to get in. Is there some kind of trick you need to use to get it to go in correctly? It comes out fine but seems to not want to go back in. :(
Any input would be helpful.

Thanks :

Please explain some more. Do you mean on the steering column? If so, the stem shouldn't just pop out.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. The signals stopped working, so I purchased a new signal stem and remove old stem, but the new on does not go in easy. So I thought that there maybe a certain way or trick to use to get it back.

So you bought a whole switch to replace the old one? Can you post a pick of the stem and where you're trying to install it?
